The Longview Fire Department "Fire Safe House" was donated by Fleetwood Travel Trailers in the early 90's. Since then thousands of children have been taught how to safely escape a house fire with the use of simulated smoke. The Fire Safe House is a major part of Safety City, which is visited by local and surrounding kindergarten and 4th grade classes.
